…walking back to God

Jesus First

Praise Jesus, savior of heaven and earth. I must decrease, He must increase. This page exists to glorify Jesus Christ.

Heart

It would hard to be known as “after God’s own heart” if I’m only chasing Him with my head.

Head

God is not impressed by our intellect, but I love to use my intelligence to know and understand Him better.

Hands

Show me your faith without works and I’ll show you my faith through my works.

Our latest Bible Studies

Foundations

Based on Hebrews 6.1-3 we will investigate and define the essentials of our faith.

Coming Soon: Die To Self

What does that even mean?

Later: The Love Rubric

Living the yoke of Jesus.

This site contains my original work.

“For God so loved the World, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes on Him will not perish, but have everlasting life.”

John 3:16

Three tenses of sanctification.

We were

The work of Christ was completed on the cross, and with that act, we who follow the Way were saved from the penalty for sin. We also call this justification, that is, we have been justified to the Father by Jesus sacrifice.

We are

As we go daily, we grow towards being the person God originally intended us to be when He created us, before sin corrupted His creation.

We will be

On judgement day, we will be sanctified, that is made right before God. This is our promise and the reason for the joy inside us. We also call this glorification, which is we will be glorified – made perfect in the presence of God.
